Job Description:

We're looking for motivated QA Engineers as we’re hiring for this role at multiple levels, from junior candidates with around 2+ years of experience to senior professionals. We’re open to different experience levels and value both growth potential and strong expertise. We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful and highly motivated QA Engineer to join a 50-strong team working on banking apps or web eBanking portal testing team for an EU client.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teams are divided into four Scrum teams
  • Each Scrum team roughly consists of: 2 - 3 QA engineers, 2 iOS developers, 2 Android developers, 2 Backend developers, 1 Product designer, 1 Product owner
  • Each sprint lasts two weeks
  • Before each sprint, the following meetings take place: Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review
  • Daily Stand-up - each Scrum team has its own daily sync from 09:00 to 09:30, every day except on days when sprint meetings are held
  • Communication is key on this project - the client requires active communication to ensure problems are resolved as quickly as possible

Requirements:

  • Needs to know Gherkin Acceptance Criteria notation
  • Experience in software testing: app or portals or mobile testing
  • Experience with testing tools: Proxyman or similar, JIRA, Xray or similar, Confluence, Loadrunner
  • Experience in test automation is a big plus
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent English is required and German is beneficial
  • Any experience in telecommunications / mobile industry is beneficial
  • Experience with version control such as GIT is beneficial
  • Candidates need to be open to work with AI tools such as VSCode, GITHUB Copilot
  • Experience with Maestro is beneficial
  • Team player, but not as empty terminology: you cooperate with others, help them do good work and share your problems with others in order to find solutions faster
  • On-site work from Zagreb 3x a week
