We're looking for a QA Engineer who will take ownership of the quality and stability of our backend services — from APIs and business logic to microservice communication. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys diving deep into system architecture, thinks systematically, and wants to influence a product used daily by millions of traders around the world.

Job Responsibility

  • Test backend microservices, APIs, and internal integrations
  • Analyze architecture, create test cases, scenarios, and technical documentation
  • Develop and maintain automated tests in Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Validate data correctness across databases, business logic, and service interactions
  • Participate in load and stress testing, analyze stability metrics
  • Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to improve system reliability and resilience

Requirements

  • 4+ years of QA experience
  • At least 2 years in backend/API testing
  • Strong understanding of client-server architecture and microservice principles
  • Experience working with REST APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger, DevTools
  • Proficiency in Python (automated test development, pytest/unittest)
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Experience working in Unix environments, ability to read logs, basic bash skills
  • Knowledge of protocols and formats: HTTP, WebSocket, JSON

Nice to have

  • Experience with performance, load, or security testing
  • Familiarity with monitoring & logging systems (Grafana, Kibana, Sentry)
  • Experience in fintech, trading, or SaaS products
  • Understanding of brokerage APIs or market data
  • Experience with finance and trading, or knowledge of the industry
  • Familiarity with TradingView

  • Running Functional and End-to-End tests and making that sure the functionalities are in conformance with the user stories, acceptance criteria and design documents
  • Ensuring version releases with 0 critical bugs
  • Looking for ways to increase automation ratio as much as possible while performing manual tests for the scenarious that are not automated yet
  • Collaborating and working closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers to share bug reports, ensure business requirements are met, and increase code and automated test coverages
  • Tracking and measuring quality metrics to take any necessary corrective actions proactively for one thing: the best quality can be achieved
  • Evaluating, building, and improving the roadmap and infrastructure of the overall QA strategy and testing cycle for the end-products, making recommendations as necessary
