We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive QA Civil Engineer with 6-12 years of experience for a contract position in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of civil engineering aspects within the steel industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and implement Quality Assurance processes for civil engineering projects within the steel industry
  • Conduct inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards
  • Review project plans, technical drawings, and specifications to identify potential quality issues and risks
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement solutions
  • Monitor the quality of materials used in construction, including concrete, steel, and other relevant materials
  • Ensure adherence to established QA/QC procedures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to project stakeholders
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on quality matters
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in civil engineering QA/QC

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years, up to 12 years, of relevant experience in Quality Assurance for Civil Engineering projects
  • Proven experience within the Steel industry is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of QA Engineer principles, civil construction methods, and materials
  • Proficiency in QA/QC methodologies and documentation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
