Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Real. This role will require expertise in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, as well as solid experience with manual test case creation, execution, and management. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by building and maintaining robust testing frameworks, analyzing test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in the QA process. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, reviewing pull requests (PRs), and guiding the team in implementing best practices for test automation.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright
End-to-end working on QA cycle, test case creation, and test case management
Review Pull Requests (PRs) for Playwright automation tests created by team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices
Analyzing PRD and pointing out the gaps if any
Ability to work individually as well as in teams
Lead - Developing and guiding the testing procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective, and comprehensive
Lead - Analyzing existing testing frameworks and tools and be able to enhance manual and automation scope
Designing and creating test scripts to address areas such as database impact, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for the release
Developing and guiding the testing procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective, and comprehensive
Raise outstanding issues through established project management channels, as per the project plan
Experience working on Cypress / Playwright similar tools

Requirements:

Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JS based frameworks e.g. Cypress, Playwright, etc.
Experience with Git for version control and collaboration within the development and testing workflows
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / Typescript to write and debug test scripts efficiently
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar to build and manage automated pipelines
3+ years of experience in QA with a focus on automation testing, specifically using Playwright
Experience on Mobile Testing with both Android as well as iOS Devices
Having Performed UI/UX Testing
Proficient in Testing methodologies, Test case creation, and Test case management tool
Ability to transform requirements into test cases with required coverage
Knowledge of frontend technologies
Proficient with any test management tool and defect management tool - Youtrack/Jira is a plus
Ability to understand and promote process improvements as needed
Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A committed individual with a positive attitude and driven to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on automation testing (preferably using Playwright or similar tools)
Experience in UI/UX testing, API testing, and working with mobile testing is highly desirable

Nice to have:

Experience with Web services (API) testing using tools like Postman/Swagger is a plus
Experience with Tools like Datadog for error monitoring and debugging is a plus
Experience working with real estate markets is a plus
