Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA/Automation Engineer to validate and automate testing for Mist Systems' Network Access Control (NAC) product. You will design and execute both manual and automated test cases, ensure seamless integration with Juniper products and third-party identity services, and help maintain high product quality through robust automation.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, execute, and automate test cases for Mist NAC features (policy enforcement, device onboarding, posture checks, MDM integration)
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement comprehensive test plans
  • Validate integrations with Mist Dashboard, Juniper switches/access points, and identity services (Azure AD, Okta, RADIUS)
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate test workflows using Python and REST APIs
  • Simulate real-world network conditions and perform regression, performance, scalability, and security testing
  • Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, provide detailed bug reports, and support debugging of live production issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master's degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in QA or automation engineering, ideally with networking or security products
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, RADIUS, 802.1X, NAC)
  • Hands-on experience automating REST APIs with Python
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, microservices, and tools such as Wireshark, Postman, Jenkins, Docker, and Git
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Mist Systems, Juniper, or other NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC)
  • Knowledge of SAML/OAuth2, Azure AD, Okta, Zero Trust, segmentation, and endpoint posture checks
  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail)
  • Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)
