Job Description

The QA Automation Engineer will contribute to the quality and reliability of our client’s backend platform, which supports high-load mobile applications through BFF and microservice-based architecture. The ecosystem includes extensive third-party integrations, cloud infrastructure, and features such as digital keytag, guided workout sessions, workout tracking, and class scheduling.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain API automated tests using Java, REST Assured, and TestNG
  • Stabilize and refactor existing autotests, reducing flakiness and improving reliability
  • Improve the automation framework, including structure, reusability, CI integration, scalability, and execution efficiency
  • Analyze CI test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and report issues with clear evidence in Jira/Xray

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in test automation
  • Strong hands-on experience in API testing
  • Practical experience running automated tests using xcodebuild
  • Experience with API test automation in Java using REST Assured and TestNG
  • Experience maintaining and stabilizing automated tests, including flakiness reduction and reliability improvements
  • Experience optimizing automated test execution time through parallelization, suite split, or tagging strategy
  • Experience working with Jira and Xray for test management, including test cases, executions, traceability, and defect tracking
  • Experience with PR quality gates and automated checks in CI
  • English level: B2 or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience with test reporting dashboards
  • Experience executing tests on BrowserStack
  • CI experience with CircleCI, including pipeline building, stable test execution, and troubleshooting
