Job Description:

Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer for a major European pet retailer. The project focuses on improving in-store management software to boost efficiency and ensure seamless retail operations. The customer is a leading European pet supplies retailer headquartered in Germany, operating thousands of stores across multiple countries. The project is focused on enhancing software for offline retail operations, including point-of-sale systems and in-store management tools, to improve efficiency and ensure seamless transactions across the company’s retail network.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Setting up and maintaining the test infrastructure
  • Evaluating automatic tests and reporting findings
  • Working across departments on integration and E2E tests
  • Ensuring reliability through load and performance tests
  • Developing the customer’s infrastructure further with new ideas and technologies

Requirements:

  • Experience in software testing, ideally in eCommerce, for 3+ years
  • Experience in applying agile methods in an agile team
  • Strong method knowledge in test automation
  • Experience with common tests and collaborative working tools of agile software development
  • A high degree of initiative and a sense of responsibility
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB certifications
  • Experience in mobile testing
