Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst based in Paris for a 6-month freelance contract. The project involves a healthcare technology platform designed for hospitals and medical centers. The solution enables secure and compliant management of patient information, treatment workflows, and medical devices - supporting doctors, nurses, and administrative staff in their daily operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Pipeline testing: validate raw device data formats and the accuracy of transformations at each processing step
  • API & message broker: test REST APIs and RabbitMQ data flows for integrity
  • Database validation: query PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and BigQuery to confirm accuracy
  • Release management: own pre-production validation before production deployment
  • Performance analysis: identify bottlenecks in ingestion flows
  • Test documentation: maintain test cases in Xray for Automation Engineers.

Requirements

  • 4 years in software testing, in cloud-based or data-intensive environments
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred
  • Strong backend validation techniques (API and complex database querying)
  • Data-oriented, detail-focused mindset
  • Comfortable in an Agile environment
  • AI-augmented: you use tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot in your daily work
  • Fluency in English and French
  • A rigorous, detail-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the healthcare / regulated sector (GDPR, HDS)
  • Exposure to FHIR.
