We’re seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and technically proficient QA Analyst to help shape our next wave of exciting projects. The QA Analyst position is focused on testing games and applications across multiple platforms in accordance with established test plans. You'll be responsible for crafting succinct bug reports, including all pertinent supporting information and delivering thoughtful, sharp analysis. As an integral member of the QA team, you will contribute significantly to the quality assurance efforts for all of Rebellion's thrilling titles.
Job Responsibility:
Testing various aspects of the game, including gameplay mechanics, controls, graphics, audio, user interface and overall performance
Documenting problems accurately by providing detailed information about how to reproduce the issue
Creating and maintaining test cases and test scenarios based on the game's design and requirements
Testing the game on different hardware configurations and operating systems
Working closely with Senior Analysts & Leads, and other team members
Maintaining detailed records of testing activities
Providing feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, and overall user experience
Following established testing methodologies, best practices and quality standards
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies
Excellent knowledge and understanding of bug testing and tracking software (Jira/Redmine, TestRail/TestLink, Confluence/Wiki.js)
Professional experience of testing current generation of consoles and PC platforms
Thorough understanding of different game genres, mechanics and platforms
Able to process strong analytical skills to identify patterns, reproduce issues and troubleshoot problems effectively
When required, should be able to work closely with developers, designers and other team members
Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced game development environment
Should be adaptable to changing requirements, new tools and emerging technologies
