Role : Python / Linux; Location: Plano, TX; FTE ONLY; Responsible for providing APS operational support for Horizon's build and deploy tools that includes Jenkis, Artifactory, Ansible Tower, release orchestration tool XLR, RedHat OpenShift, Container, Maven, MSBuild, Python pipelines troubleshooting; Have hands on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Ansible Tower, Digital's XLR , testing tools like TOSCA, QTest, Octane and RedHat Openshift Containers and work with development community to triage and troubleshot code related issues and platform issues and find root cuase and correction action thereafter. Quick understanding of any code and troubleshoting techniques is a must for this role. Remember users are developers and in order to hlp themthis suport role should be able to understand the issues they would encounter and provide solution.

Requirements:

  • Have hands on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Ansible Tower, Digital's XLR, testing tools like TOSCA, QTest, Octane and RedHat Openshift Containers
  • Have hands on experience with creation of playbook, automation tasks
  • Perform application installation, maintenance and integration with other CI tools like Jenkins, Sonarqube, Bitbucket
  • Expertise in Unix system, scripting and knowledge on BASH, KSH
  • Troubleshooting experience and determine root cause analysis
  • Have 7+ years on doing production support experience
  • Good understanding of oracle and (or) postgres database
  • Solid understanding of code related to Java, Net, Python, Scala, Node JS, JavaScript
  • Specialized subject matter expertise in the CI CD tools combined with latest tech stack knowledge related to Cloud programming, Terraform, AWS or GCP or Azure or OpenShift
  • Provide in-depth problem analysis of application, system errors, and performance issues
  • Proactive application stability analysis – investigate performance concerns, system errors, improve maintenance processes, automation, and resolution of open issues
  • Ownership of problem root cause analysis and remediation
  • Chronic issue investigation for critical application issues
  • Lead proactive monitoring review and implementation
  • On call support for production releases
