Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work collaboratively with investment and technology teams to build scalable, high-impact tools and services that enhance research efficiency and enable data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hands-on technical expertise, particularly with cloud services and collaborative development. Strong cross-functional communication skills and leadership experience are important. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can tackle complex challenges alongside top professionals in finance and technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable platform applications that support data-driven decision-making and research processes
  • Lead and mentor engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovation-focused culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption, understand needs, and enhance platform capabilities
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, such as AI, into our applications to unlock new capabilities
  • Prioritize maintainability, scalability, and observability across the platform

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in technology roles with a focus on data engineering, software engineering, or applied AI applications
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native architecture (Google Cloud preferred)
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers
  • Demonstrated interest in or experience with Generative AI
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English required

Nice to have:

  • Advanced certifications in AI or cloud technologies are a plus
  • Experience in financial services is a plus
  • Familiarity with various technologies across the technical stack is advantageous
