Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in South Jordan, Utah. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust Python/Django-based applications, while contributing to front-end development and UI enhancements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects leveraging modern technologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python/Django applications hosted on AWS platforms
  • Build and enhance user interfaces using Bootstrap and modern front-end development practices
  • Manage version control and collaboration using Git repositories
  • Deploy and troubleshoot Python applications using AWS tools, including Elastic Beanstalk
  • Optimize UI components and develop dashboards and reports to align with project goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing improvements and new feature development
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences
  • Work with database-driven applications, including creating and maintaining stored procedures
  • Utilize Cloudflare in conjunction with AWS hosting for application performance and security
  • Contribute to long-term planning and development of UI-heavy features and reporting tools

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and Django development, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in using AWS services, including Elastic Beanstalk, for application hosting and management
  • Strong expertise in Bootstrap for responsive UI development
  • Hands-on experience with Git for version control and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare for optimizing application performance and security
  • Experience working with database-driven applications, including queries and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms
  • Proven ability to build dashboards, reports, and user interface features effectively
