Python Developer. This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. Job Responsibility:

  • The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems
  • Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements
  • The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications
  • Contributes to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience
  • Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts
  • Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters

Requirements:

  • Must have hands on experience of designing and developing of cloud native enterprise application
  • Proficient in one of the programming languages: Python, GO or Java (any one of the language) along with OOAD/design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of python web frameworks such as Django, Flask
  • Strong knowledge of building RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework
  • Proficient in one of the DB such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, Oracle and/or NoSQL
  • Experience in developing using front-end technologies such as React JS is required
  • Experience in JSON/XML/Web Services technologies (REST) is required
  • Experience in creation, management and consumption of REST APIs leveraging swagger, postman etc
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (git)
  • Must have experience with TDD practices and experience with Unit Testing
  • Experience of developing in Linux/Unix Operating System environments
  • Knowledge of how the web works and how to make it efficient (HTTP, caching, page rendering…)
  • Strong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting skills. Ability to think in code and discuss ideas is a must
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development process is must
  • Minimum of 3 years of overall experience and, 1+ years of hands-on experience in above technologies

Nice to have:

  • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure) and services
  • Experience on working with API gateway
  • Experience in Containers (Docker/Kubernetes) based deployment and management
