Job Description:

Are you a passionate Python Developer ready to take on complex technical challenges? Amaris Consulting is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Brussels. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, tech-driven environment and has hands-on experience in backend development, architecture design, and automation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze validated functional requirements and draft corresponding technical specifications
  • Produce comprehensive architecture documentation (key components, dependencies, security principles, software structure, and performance standards)
  • Maintain and evolve existing functionalities, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions
  • Investigate and resolve bugs, ensuring system stability
  • Actively contribute to the team's CI/CD processes for seamless integration and delivery
  • Design and implement automated tests: unit, integration, and non-regression
  • Maintain clear and concise technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in modern Python environments
  • Proficiency with Python (version 3.8+) and relevant libraries: Pandas, FastAPI, Dask
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Jira + Confluence
  • Comfortable working in cloud environments: Azure or AWS
  • Ability to work in both French and English is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience or interest in Machine Learning / Deep Learning / LLMs
  • Knowledge of containerization/orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Dutch language skills
