Job Responsibility:
Responsible for oversight and leadership of the administration, risk management and relationship management of fiduciary and investment accounts for the Trust team in the Illinois Market
Serves as a resource and coach to the Trust Officers and addresses escalated issues
Primary attributes include the leadership and diplomacy to coordinate multiple parties of interest, including beneficiaries, relationship managers, attorneys, accountants and advisors
Provides expert fiduciary advice, demonstrates fiduciary document interpretation acumen as well as knowledge and application of relevant trust law
Must possess the force of personality and leadership ability to be regarded as a senior fiduciary expert and problem resolution resource for her/his teams
Performs routine hr duties such as reviews, hiring and corrective coaching
Responsible for meeting all corporate and regulatory compliance standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Advanced degree or applicable professional designation such as CTFA or CFP
Eight or more years of experience in financial services, with an emphasis on trust servicing and/or administration
Two or more years in a leadership or management role
Thorough knowledge of the Trust services, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations and fiduciary responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for use to both internal and external groups
Strong Leadership and management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
