Job Description:

We are currently partnering with a leading global professional services firm to hire a Pursuits & Directories Specialist to join their Business Development & Marketing team. This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role supporting the development of high-quality pitches, proposals, and directory submissions. You'll work closely with lawyers and internal teams to help position the firm effectively in the market and win new business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and support end-to-end pitch and proposal development (RFPs, client presentations, submissions)
  • Draft, edit, and tailor client-facing materials to ensure high-quality, compelling content
  • Collaborate with lawyers and BD teams to identify win themes and develop differentiated messaging
  • Manage timelines and coordinate the full proposal lifecycle under tight deadlines
  • Maintain and update BD content, including experience lists and standard materials
  • Support Chambers, Legal 500, and other directory submissions, including drafting and project coordination
  • Track opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in proposals, pursuits, or business development within a professional services environment (law firm preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Familiarity with RFP processes and client-facing deliverables
  • Exposure to legal directories (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500) is a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, including holding any required permits
