We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing & Supply Chain Administrator to join our Procurement team. This is a key support role responsible for maintaining accurate product and supplier data, raising purchase orders, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our supply chain activities. You will act as a central point of contact for the procurement function, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure orders, data, and processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the first point of contact for the Procurement team, responding to internal and external enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Raise, issue, and track purchase orders, ensuring they are processed in line with agreed supplier terms
Maintain accurate product and supplier data across key business systems, including costs, codes, specifications, and dimensions
Liaise with suppliers to obtain order confirmations, delivery updates, availability, and pricing information
Monitor outstanding orders and proactively resolve day-to-day supply issues
Support the Procurement and Buying team with administrative and operational tasks as required
Assist with supplier queries, disputes, and discrepancies in conjunction with Finance
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, data quality, service levels, and cost efficiency
Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with large volumes of data
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Clear and confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
Proactive, reliable, and able to remain focused under pressure
Nice to have:
Experience with procure-to-pay processes
Strong technical aptitude and confidence working across systems
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience using procurement or purchasing systems (e.g. Sage 50)
