As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee the procurement of goods and services for the Resort, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with Four Seasons standards. You will support the Purchasing Manager in vendor management, inventory control, and compliance with internal policies.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise daily purchasing operations and ensure timely ordering of supplies
Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate prices and contracts
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
Coordinate with departments to meet operational purchasing needs
Monitor inventory levels and support cost control efforts
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
Assist in the onboarding and evaluation of suppliers
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in hospitality
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., BirchStreet or similar)
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Fluent in English
Arabic is a plus
Strong understanding of local market and import regulations is an advantage
