Job Description:

As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee the procurement of goods and services for the Resort, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with Four Seasons standards. You will support the Purchasing Manager in vendor management, inventory control, and compliance with internal policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily purchasing operations and ensure timely ordering of supplies
  • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate prices and contracts
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with departments to meet operational purchasing needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and support cost control efforts
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
  • Assist in the onboarding and evaluation of suppliers

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., BirchStreet or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Arabic is a plus
  • Strong understanding of local market and import regulations is an advantage
