Your job in detail Your tasks Independent procurement of production materials (including chips, paper, cardboard, and printing inks) and services. Systematic comparison of offers, considering price, quality, availability, and sustainability. Independent conduct of price and terms negotiations – also with international suppliers in English. Management of order processes, including deadline tracking and complaint management. Close coordination with production, work preparation, and other departments. Conducting needs analyses to ensure needs-based and cost-effective procurement. Analyzing market, price, and procurement trends to derive concrete measures. Active development and digitalization of purchasing processes. Optimization and control of inventory levels to ensure security of supply and reduce tied-up capital. Participation in make-or-buy decisions from an economic and strategic perspective. Development, evaluation, and expansion of a high-performing supplier network. Your profile Completed commercial training or comparable qualification. Several years of experience in operational purchasing at a manufacturing company. Strong analytical skills and confident handling of key performance indicators. Negotiation skills and assertiveness. High level of self-motivation and a structured and organized work style. Proficient in MS Office and ERP/inventory management systems. Good written and spoken English skills.
