Job Description:

We are now looking for a Purchasing Specialist - French Speaker to join our procurement team in Portugal. The Purchasing Specialist manages ordering activities for Procurement Commodities within France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal. This also includes operational sourcing activities following the Procurement processes and strategies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review of Purchase Requests (PRs)
  • Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs
  • Operational Sourcing
  • Service Desk activities (provide support to internal stakeholders)
  • Maintenance of info records (e.g. catalogues)
  • Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (internal customers, buyers)
  • Use of Airbus ERP Systems (SAP)
  • Use of other specific tools (Coupa)
  • Support the onboarding of new team members
  • Support the team leader in reporting tasks

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement
  • Communication skills
  • Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
  • Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English and French (in a negotiation level)
  • Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and variety of products and services
  • Shows a lot of reliability rigor and concentration at work
