We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to support sourcing and procurement activities within the apparel industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring trims and accessories are procured on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, while working closely with internal teams and suppliers.
Job Responsibility:
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Monitor purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery to prevent production delays
Source, evaluate, and procure trims and accessories according to approved BOMs
Follow up on shortages, damages, and quality issues and resolve promptly
Coordinate closely with merchandising, production, and quality assurance teams
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience purchasing trims and accessories in the apparel industry
Strong knowledge of garment trims, accessories, and supplier networks (local & international)
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
