The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing the procurement process within the Hotel. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the company’s operations, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are acquired at competitive prices.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and engage suppliers to source necessary goods and services
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure optimal stock levels
Create and process purchase orders in line with company policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for reliable service and quality assurance
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal regulations
Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide purchasing support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement or a similar role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
