Job Description:

Join Marriott Executive Apartments as a Purchasing Officer at The Mayflower Jakarta. Responsibilities include inventory management, handling deliveries, adhering to food safety policies, and supporting team goals. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, physical capability for various tasks, and the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Responsibility:

Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
maintain organized records and file invoices
conduct inventory audits and complete reports
handle deliveries and return processes
manage stock levels and inventory forms
ensure food safety and handling policies
maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
develop positive work relationships
assist team goals
inspect tools and equipment for defects
perform physical tasks like lifting, moving, bending, and stooping.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
clear and organized record-keeping
inventory auditing
requisition forms completion
handling deliveries and troubleshooting vendor delivery issues
knowledge of food safety and handling policies
ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
effective communication skills
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to move through narrow or uneven spaces
compliance with company policies and procedures
confidentiality maintenance.
