Job Responsibility:

  • Perform Set Up Validation ensuring Bonder is set up correctly for production run
  • Make sure that the Bonder is clean of debris
  • Load components into feeder magazines and ensure the magazine is always replenished for production run
  • Understand the function of the bonding operation
  • Perform WinSPC checks and place entries into the computer system
  • Inspect parts for any deformities with the part. Separate all questionable material and place this material in the scrap container or DMR as appropriate
  • Report any quality issues to the Team Leader or their designate
  • Comply with process standards
  • Maintain required production and scrap records. Report any production inefficiencies to the team leader or Supervisor
  • Identify and investigate unusual problems and determine the nature of part defects. Report any issues to the technician or team lead to have issues corrected
  • Identify interruptions in the machine, clear faults, and restart the machine as needed
  • Shrinkwrap and pack completed friction plates as specified, noting clock number on each stack
  • Follow safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Act and perform duties in a manner that is conducive to a professional, productive, and team-oriented environment
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
