Job Description:

A well-established company with over 60 years of experience in the Montreal area, operating in the field of lifting equipment and industrial tools. The company provides sales, repair, and rental services for manual, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. The organization offers a very competitive compensation structure along with attractive benefits, including a Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan (VRSP) and group insurance. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to join a dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

Assess the company’s purchasing needs
Request quotes and proposals
Negotiate contract terms with suppliers
Establish delivery schedules and ensure proper follow-up
Manage inventory levels
Communicate with suppliers and clients in case of issues
Ensure the distribution of equipment and materials to relevant departments
Develop and implement purchasing policies

Requirements:

Technical DEC (an asset)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
strong analytical skills
autonomous and self-driven
ability to learn and work with IT systems
comfortable working with data (Excel)
ability to successfully coordinate multiple complex activities/projects simultaneously
results-oriented
strong organizational skills and independence in managing tasks and responsibilities
