Job Description:

As a Purchasing Lead at Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan, you will oversee inventory and deliveries, ensure quality standards, and maintain food safety compliance. Responsibilities include organizing received inventory, resolving supplier discrepancies, and supporting operational tasks while adhering to company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Receive, unload, and process deliveries
Verify and track received inventory
Complete inventory reports and logs
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels
Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process
Adhere to food safety and handling policies
Inspect deliveries to verify freshness and quality
Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Clear and professional communication
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of inventory processes and food safety policies
