Purchasing Coordinator

• Coordinate the pickup and delivery of orders and supplies to designated locations, including offices, warehouses, airports, and vessels
• Transport shipments to air freight carriers, barges, and other destinations as required
• Conduct occasional purchasing tasks based on pre-approved shopping lists
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager
• Perform purchasing research and other business-related tasks using computer systems
• Adhere to established safety protocols and actively contribute to a secure work environment
• Participate in mandatory training programs to enhance knowledge and compliance
• Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of the company vehicle and ensure routine servicing is completed
• Plan efficient daily routes and handle substitutions for comparable items when necessary
• Respond promptly to urgent or evolving needs while maintaining high standards of service

• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Capability to lift and transport loads up to 75 pounds, often without assistance
• Familiarity with purchasing activities, including research and material acquisition
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist in various operational areas
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards and following established procedures

Forklift experience or certification is preferred but not required
