Known for innovation, quality, and smart partnerships, you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic supply chain operation, ensuring materials and resources are in place to keep production running smoothly and efficiently across multiple sites. Reporting to the Optimisation & Procurement Manager, as Purchasing Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the direct procurement function and ensuring supply continuity for production. You’ll manage the purchasing of ingredients, packaging, and raw materials, maintain MRP data, and act as a key liaison with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and compliance. You’ll work closely with sites, stores, and technical teams, coordinating incoming raw materials, managing supplier documentation, and helping prevent aged or excess stock. Your work directly supports production efficiency and operational success across multiple sites.
Job Responsibility:
Execute vendor contracts and ensure obligations are met
Purchase packaging, ingredients, and consumables to meet production requirements
Maintain accurate MRP data and coordinate stock rotation
Balance raw material inventories across sites and minimise freight costs
Manage incoming raw materials plans to plants and stores, ensuring ETA accuracy
Ensure supplier documentation, import certifications, and regulatory compliance are accurate and up to date
Monitor inventory to prevent aged stock and ensure accurate stock records in ERP systems
Support invoice verification, credit creation, and financial accuracy for purchased materials
Assist with vendor identification, validation, and negotiations as required
Deliver on key KPIs including stock availability, aged stock prevention, and timely documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing support
Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NAV) and MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise at all levels
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and support team members
Exposure to manufacturing or FMCG environments, managing MRP is preferred
Supply Chain Management qualification is advantageous
