This role plays a key part in ensuring we secure the right goods and services at the right time, cost, and quality to support both operational delivery and strategic goals. You’ll be responsible for managing purchasing activities across internal projects and external customer requirements—supporting commercial negotiations and maintaining supplier relationships to deliver value and efficiency across the business. The role also involves close collaboration with our wider Group Procurement function, ensuring alignment with BT’s broader sourcing strategies and governance frameworks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage purchasing activities across internal projects and external customer requirements, ensuring timely and accurate processing of requests
Act as a key point of contact for external customer purchasing queries, providing guidance, updates, and resolution of issues
Support wider business unit teams in preparing and reviewing supplier quotes, pricing models, and customer-facing proposals
Oversee the receipting process for goods and services, ensuring accurate tracking, timely approvals, and alignment with financial controls
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service levels, delivery timelines, and quality standards are met
