We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to assist with buying materials, supplies, and equipment for the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Job Responsibility:
Create and process purchase orders
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate purchasing records and files
Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring
Resolve any order issues or discrepancies
Support the accounting department with invoice matching and payment follow-ups
Requirements:
Previous experience in purchasing or procurement (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing software
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
