Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key supply chain partners, including suppliers and logistics providers, to improve communication, optimise lead times, ensure timely order fulfilment, and uphold high quality standards across all deliveries
  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and drive improved gross profit margins through effective procurement strategies, including 'better buying' practices such as negotiating pricing, reviewing supplier performance, and analysing purchasing trends
  • Support the expansion and optimisation of the supply chain network by identifying and onboarding new suppliers, diversifying sourcing options, and improving supply chain resilience to meet business growth and operational demands

Requirements

  • Adaptable and able to pick up new systems and process quickly and efficiently
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced environment and working to deadlines
  • Creative and solution orientated
  • Team player with ability to work independently when required
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience within import or supporting European customers would be highly advantageous but not essential
