Job Description:

Ensure inventory processes are performed effectively and compliantly at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba. Responsibilities include inventory management, vendor issue troubleshooting, and adherence to food safety standards. Physical tasks and proficiency in computer programs are essential.

Job Responsibility:

Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
maintain clear and organized records
post invoices using computer programs
conduct inventory audits to determine levels and needs
complete requisition forms
verify and track received inventory
reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
troubleshoot vendor delivery issues
oversee return process
adhere to food safety and handling policies
monitor PAR levels for food items
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
speak and write using clear and professional language
develop and maintain positive working relationships
comply with quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
ability to maintain clear and organized records
ability to perform inventory audits
ability to complete requisition forms
ability to verify and track received inventory
ability to reconcile shipping invoices and reports
knowledge of food safety and handling policies
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
proficiency in using computers and relevant programs.
