Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct online research to identify supplier information, product details, and supporting data needed for sourcing decisions
  • Organize and maintain vendor quotes, pricing records, and related documentation to ensure accurate purchasing support
  • Assist with gathering cost information for ingredients or materials by reviewing supplier inputs and compiling comparisons
  • Work from provided vendor lists and sourcing direction to help collect information needed for ongoing purchasing activities
  • Update spreadsheets and tracking files in Microsoft Excel to monitor quotes, vendor responses, and item details
  • Support the sourcing team with administrative purchasing tasks, including data entry, follow-up, and record accuracy
  • Communicate with vendors as needed to request information, confirm details, and document responses clearly
  • Help maintain continuity of supply information by tracking relevant vendor and pricing updates for the team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, track, and update purchasing data accurately
  • Strong research skills with the ability to locate reliable information quickly using online resources
  • Comfort working with vendor-related documentation, pricing details, and administrative support tasks
  • High attention to detail and willingness to manage repetitive or process-driven assignments consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating information with vendors and internal teams
  • Ability to stay organized while handling multiple requests, deadlines, and tracking responsibilities
