Job Responsibility:
Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring data accuracy and timely entry
Communicate and coordinate effectively with vendors and suppliers to maintain strong partnerships
Assist in estimating and quoting tasks to support project needs
Provide general administrative assistance in a collaborative work setting
Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials
Manage vendor relationships and address any issues related to supply chain operations
Collaborate with team members to optimize purchasing processes and enhance efficiency
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze purchasing data
Handle accounts payable tasks related to procurement functions
Maintain records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes
Requirements:
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement activities, ideally within the construction or home building sector
Proficiency in vendor management and building supplier relationships
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and documentation
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, open-office environment
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
