Job Responsibility:

  • Take responsibility to understand and communicate around the direction of the organization together with expectations and goals for the role
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments and functions in a way that will contribute to a positive and inclusive climate
  • Take fully responsibility for following and securing the Group Procurement purchase process end-to-end
  • Responsible for building long term partnerships with Key Suppliers based on shared business model
  • Responsible for building trusted relationships through IKEA way of doing business, secure compliance of IWAY and Code of Conduct and other Compliance requirements
  • Responsible for supplier management and supplier performance by professionally challenge suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of supplier performance
  • Through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the category/sourcing plans
  • Act according to IKEA values do business. Show IKEA values through behaviors and actions. Establish trustful relationships and be self-aware and understand own impact on others

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience and a proven record of consistently meeting/exceeding results in executing procurement and contracting for mid & small size Construction, Fit Out, re-build projects
  • Good knowledge and experience in Retail Interior & Fit-out, MEPF, Construction Consultant Procurement etc.
  • Experience from working in cross-functional teams/Stakeholder Management
  • Able to navigate well and independently in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience in SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA/S4Hana
  • Good industry background and knowledge of local Retail Fit-out market, regulations, and general practices with degree in architectural, Civil/Mechanical engineering, quantity surveying and Cost Management
  • Sound understanding of different Procurement methods for Construction, Fit Out and Rebuild Projects
  • Experience in Strategic sourcing and ability to identify business opportunities to establish long term strategic partnerships with Key Suppliers
  • Good knowledge of Supplier Relationship and Performance Management to drive overall quality improvement, cost optimization and innovation
  • Knowledge of Category cost / market drivers and trends to contribute to building sourcing strategies
  • In depth knowledge to execute design/technical & construction, fit-out related procurement processes and compliance to company policies
  • Knowledge of FIDIC or any other Form of Contract. Able to negotiate the contractual terms and conditions in interest of organization
  • Good Knowledge in RFx preparation, contract drafting, contract negotiation and execution
  • Good knowledge of Post Contract and change Management process including commercial negotiation, claims and disputes settlement
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential procurement risks throughout the Project life cycle
  • Sound understanding of TCO objective
  • Execute and Implement Key priorities identified in Country Category plan
  • Frequently visiting constructions sites/operational stores to support project requirements
  • Lead and manage various Low-cost establishment/Local Sourcing initiatives
  • Negotiate to secure the best value and commercial terms for Ingka
  • Responsible to meet and exceed cost saving targets contributing to overall Ingka Procurement goals
  • Contribute with good legal Knowledge of Purchase agreements and Contract structuring
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge in purchasing practices and related processes
