Job Description:

The Purchaser role involves managing inventory processes, conducting audits, reconciling invoices, maintaining adherence to food safety policies, and supporting the operations of a luxury resort. Teamwork, professional communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Job Responsibility:

Calculate food inventory figures, orders, and costs
Maintain organized records and file invoices properly
Post invoices using computer programs
Conduct inventory audits to determine levels and needs
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
Notify supervisor of low stock levels
Verify and track received inventory and complete reports and logs
Reconcile shipping invoices and reports for count accuracy
Process deliveries and refuse damaged or incorrect items
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues
Monitor food PAR levels
Report accidents or unsafe conditions
Follow company policies
Maintain professional appearance
Develop positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
