Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a new permanent opportunity working for a small but well established business based in Willenhall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger clerk looking to join a business where you can make this role your own.

Job Responsibility

  • Solely responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function processing up to 800 invoices on a monthly basis from start to finish
  • Matching batching and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing payments by BACs
  • Resolving queries
  • Processing expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with other ad hoc finance duties as and when required

Requirements

  • Experienced purchase ledger clerk
  • Must be self sufficient and be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
