Requirements

Proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations
Mechanical and Electrical skills
18th Edition qualification
Ideally of 3-5 years' experience in pump maintenance or a similar role
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for centrifugal pumps and submersible sewage pumps
Experience lifting, replacing, and installing pumps and associated pipework
Full clean UK Driving Licence
Good mechanical and electrical skills
The ability to work remotely
Flexibility to work on our Emergency Call-Out Rota

Job Responsibility

Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified
Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment
Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota
Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces
Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone
Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers
Work independently or as a member of a team

Associate Degree or other technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
1-3 years of proven work experience on electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required with the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas

Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs various production equipment systems and devices and performs regular preventive maintenance as planned
Performs regular equipment checks and completes the required predictive checklists to identify early signs of potential equipment failures and minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate within the immediate supervisor and maintenance planner to schedule and develop inspection routines and preventative maintenance schedules
