Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is currently seeking to hire a Pulmonary Care Manager at Baptist Beaches. This is a full time, day shift, opportunity. The Manager of Pulmonary Services oversees the operation and development. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, policies, program development, and personnel management. The Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care in a cost efficient environment. The Manager of Pulmonary services represents the department in various system-wide meetings and acts as a liaison between the Pulmonary Department and other departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manages the operation of the Department
  • Provides support to the supervisors, clinical educator, clinical staff and provides clinical support for non-routine types of Pulmonary Care
  • Responsible for department budget, evaluations of employees, and new equipment acquisitions
  • Monitors quality of care delivered, including patient/family satisfaction
  • Advises and assists the Medical Director when appropriate
  • oversees the operation and development
  • responsible for the day-to-day operations, policies, program development, and personnel management
  • responsible for the delivery of quality patient care in a cost efficient environment
  • represents the department in various system-wide meetings and acts as a liaison between the Pulmonary Department and other departments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 Years Management Experience
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Registered National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Required
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
  • prior experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
