The Publisher Platform Support Engineer serves as the primary technical escalation point for complex publisher-side issues involving integrations, performance, and platform behavior. This role requires deep technical expertise, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless delivery and top-tier performance of Taboola solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose application/website performance issues by reviewing logs, debugging code, and identifying root causes
Lead high-severity investigations with full ownership and end-to-end resolution
Provide R&D/Product/Business teams with clear reproduction steps, logs, and structured test cases
Manage technical escalations such as cookie-sync discrepancies, implementation errors, crashes, and script conflicts
Mentor Level 1 engineers
deliver training to improve team technical capability
Identify recurring issues and collaborate with L3, Product, and R&D for scalable long-term fixes
Develop internal tools, automation, and AI-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency
Coordinate with business units to ensure smooth resolution of client-facing issues
Requirements:
2+ years hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js
Advanced SQL skills, including design and optimization of complex queries
Strong understanding of browser rendering internals, page load lifecycle, DOM, and performance optimization
