As a Publisher Account Manager working on the SMB Publisher team in the NYC office you will play a vital role in focusing on optimizing existing relationships by upselling new initiatives to publishers and improving the metrics on their site.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and growing relationships with publisher clients
Understanding client KPIs and identify upsell opportunities
Monitoring and analyzing metrics and proactively take steps to improve performance
Strategic planning and forecasting in alignment with revenue objectives
Working closely with the Sales & Product teams in order to become a valuable resource both internally and externally
Actively participating with peers in a team-oriented culture and assist other internal groups
Being the expert on revenue optimization for your book of business and become a trusted advisor for clients based on knowledge of the the industry
Helping identify trends through data analysis and market conditions to pinpoint highest value optimizations
Requirements:
BA/BS required
2-3 years of professional experience (client-facing in the digital media /online publisher space preferred but not required)
Proven record with upselling and meeting or exceeding quota
Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills, with a customer centric mentality
Very strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by monitoring/identifying trends with data, including revenue projections and forecasting
Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client
High attention to detail and well organized, thrives in a multitasking environment and adjusts and prioritizes accordingly
Strong phone, email etiquette, and presentation skills
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
You’re a natural collaborator, able to work with anyone to reach a common goal
Basic familiarity with front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
