We are looking for an experienced Public Staff Tax Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in El Paso, Texas. This role is essential for handling high-volume tax preparation during the busy season, focusing exclusively on individual tax returns (1040). Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare individual tax returns (1040) with accuracy and efficiency during high-volume periods
  • Utilize tax software effectively, with preference for experience in platforms like Thomson Reuters or similar systems
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards while maintaining attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
