Public Space Attendant Job at Boyne Resorts (Boyne Falls)

Job Description

The Public Space Attendant is responsible for ensuring clean, orderly and attractive public space areas throughout the resort.

Obtaining list of areas which need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective spaces to monitor in order to prepare work assignments
Examining rooms, halls, and lobbies, and report any maintenance concerns to supervisor
Changing and replenishing linens and amenities in public space areas
Replacing and/or cleaning soiled items
Disinfecting and sterilizing bathroom areas
Sweeping, vacuuming and polishing floor areas, cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Dusting furniture and equipment, washing walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
Emptying wastebaskets and replacing liners
Cleaning all outdoor patio areas and furniture
Ensuring cleaning checklist for area is complete and inspect work to meet standards of cleanliness
Taking inventory of stock to ensure adequate supplies, restocking carts and storage closets
Keeping utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
Responding to guest requests for additional supplies or information
Keeping supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Maintaining a clean, well-organized work area
Assisting other room attendants when necessary in any area of the resort
Completing section report in allotted time frame and updates status on report according to what has been cleaned
Completing any special tasks assigned by management
