Job Description

HPE are seeking a high-performing Public Sector Storage Account Manager to lead both new business development and strategic account growth within the UK public sector. Focused on HPE's market-leading data services portfolio, this role requires a hybrid sales mindset: part hunter, uncovering new opportunities across public sector, including NHS Trusts, ICBs, and healthcare providers; part account leader, deepening relationships and expanding footprint within existing public sector customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Drives sales of the HPE storage portfolio
  • Actively generates customer interest and anticipates customer's buying trends
  • Focuses on and works with the channel to forge relationships
  • Collaborates across HPE teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business
  • Effectively leads storage marketing campaigns to ensure a successful launch

Requirements

  • University or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of field-sales experience
  • 1-3 years of storage-sales experience
  • UK Healthcare industry knowledge preferred
  • Storage Specialist- Sales Acumen & Behaviours
  • Understands the role of IT within the area of storage
  • Understands how the company's solutions address specific vertical industry challenges
  • Is considered an expert in knowledge of storage, cloud, solution or service offerings
  • Demonstrates a hunter mentality to actively pursue opportunities
  • Possesses the ability to independently articulate the technical solution and the commercial benefits to the client
  • Uses commercial expertise to negotiate and drive deals to ensure successful closure and a high win rate
