A leading UK Managed Service Provider is looking for a driven Public Sector Account Manager to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity to lead new business in local government and public sector accounts, take ownership of strategic relationships, and deliver transformative Microsoft-based IT solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Drive new logo acquisition and grow existing public sector accounts across local government and councils
Work directly with Microsoft and other partners to deliver cloud, M365, Azure, Cohesity, and managed service solutions
Lead bids, proposals, and framework opportunities with confidence and commercial acumen
Own your territory, taking a self-starter approach to target and win business without waiting for leads to fall in your lap
Collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities and ensure seamless service delivery for clients
Be the face of the company for your accounts, delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving high retention rates
Requirements:
10-15 years’ experience in sales or account management, ideally in public sector or Microsoft partner environments
Proven track record in new business generation, sales performance, and account growth
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft stack, Azure, M365, and cloud/managed services
Experience working with frameworks, bids, and public sector procurement processes
Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to make things happen - this isn’t a “sit back and wait” role
