Job Responsibility:
Create and manage an annual public relations strategy that supports major business priorities, product activity, and brand objectives
Plan and execute communications initiatives by selecting the right mix of media outreach, events, and content to achieve defined goals
Set measurable performance indicators for campaigns and evaluate results through reporting on visibility, sentiment, and broader business impact
Oversee public relations projects from early planning and budget coordination through execution, analysis, and post-campaign review
Build a clear and compelling brand story that reinforces the company’s position as a trusted leader in mission-driven aviation solutions
Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers across aviation, manufacturing, and business media
Secure meaningful press coverage through timely pitching, responsive media engagement, and well-prepared interview coordination
Prepare high-quality communications materials such as press releases, executive messaging, feature content, newsletters, and contributed articles while ensuring AP Style accuracy
Identify noteworthy developments across engineering, production, and business operations and translate them into accessible stories for external audiences
Support urgent and sensitive communications needs with clear, accurate messaging while collaborating with teams across manufacturing, sales, finance, human resources, customer service, training, vendors, dealers, and service partners
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing, preferably within aerospace, defense, or a related industrial environment
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a similar field
Demonstrated success writing press materials, media pitches, and long-form content with a strong command of AP Style
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while meeting firm deadlines
Experience building media relationships and earning coverage through proactive story development and outreach
Ability to turn technical or operational information into clear, engaging content for external audiences
Willingness to attend industry events and travel occasionally as needed for brand representation
Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to executing communications programs
