AMD is seeking a Client Public Relations (PR) Manager to manage and execute tactical PR activities for Client Computing and Graphics product launches and momentum efforts as well as working with regional PR teams to help coordinate consumer client and graphics PR activities globally, with direct responsibility for NA.
Job Responsibility:
Drive PR activities that support product launches and ongoing momentum activities for the client, gaming and graphics product portfolios
Partner closely with business units and marketing teams to shape PR-ready storylines
Support competitive intelligence and issue readiness
Manage the product reviews for launches of new CPUs, graphics cards, and OEM/SI systems
Maintain direct, ongoing contact and support for NA media, bloggers, non-traditional content creators, and YouTubers
Provide front-line technical support and direct engagement with NA reviewers
Support OEM- and SI-led announcements and reviews of AMD-powered laptop and desktop PCs
Devise and implement new and creative communication campaigns
Maintain efficient communications with AMD product teams in NA
Coordination with product management and marketing to ensure alignment of NA priorities with PR efforts
Support communication between headquarter PR to regional teams
Monitor competitive activities and ongoing market dynamics
Travel to and support of media events
Draft materials in support of PR activities
Work on related projects and / or assignments as needed
Requirements:
Extensive working experience in Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Excellent communications, organizational, and people skills
Excellent technical skills, gaming awareness, and interest in the computing and graphics fields
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related non‑technical field
