The Public Relations Executive (Cluster Role) supports the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives for both Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. This role is responsible for enhancing brand visibility through media relations, content creation, and visual storytelling, including graphic design for campaigns and communications materials. Working closely with the Public Relations team, the Executive ensures brand consistency while driving awareness across local and international markets for both urban luxury and resort experiences.
Job Responsibility
Support development and execution of PR campaigns across both properties
Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders
Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and pitches
Coordinate media visits, press stays, and FAM trips
Create compelling written content (press releases, newsletters, story angles)
Develop and adapt content for digital platforms and social media
Ensure all communications align with Four Seasons brand voice and standards
Design marketing and PR collateral including media kits, invitations, posters, and digital assets
Create visual content for social media, email campaigns, and internal communications
Work with brand guidelines to ensure consistency in all visual outputs
Support basic photo and video editing, as well as layout designs for campaigns and promotions
Support planning and execution of PR events, launches, and media activations
Assist in identifying partnerships with brands, influencers, and organizations
Coordinate event materials and visual assets for both locations
Partner with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, F&B, Culinary, Spa, and Front Office teams for storytelling opportunities
Ensure cohesive messaging across both properties
Support crisis communications when required
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
2–4 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, or agency environment
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar)
Good eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects across two properties
Willingness to travel occasionally to Langkawi
Passion for luxury hospitality and lifestyle branding
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
Must have the right to work in Malaysia
