As a PR and Social Media Specialist at Dix & Eaton, you will have the opportunity to be an immediate contributor on a team of communications strategists, project managers, writers and editors, graphic designers, and digital specialists. At this level, our subject matter experts in Marketing & PR build strong foundational skills in communications and project management to deliver excellent client service. In our highly collaborative environment. This role will work in close partnership with other account staff to produce content, manage client accounts and contribute to strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Build, protect and enhance clients’ reputations through a wide range of initiatives, with particular emphasis on social media activities
Manage multiple projects for multiple clients from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
Maintains a perspective and develops processes for measuring social media program efforts
Actively follow the landscape for social media and effectively advise internal colleagues and clients on the latest trends and best practices
Develop and manage client budgets and work with finance on project billing and reconciliation
Requirements:
Five plus years of experience
Previous experience in communications with background in journalism, nonprofit, or at an agency working across multiple clients
Paid social ads experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok, including being able to set up and optimize campaigns and manage the billing and invoicing
Experience with a variety of digital and/or social media management or monitoring platforms, including (but not limited to): Google Analytics and Data Studio/Google Looker Studio

Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proofread to create high-quality internal and external communications content

Ability to gain understanding of key client information, including general business strategy, financial position, industry trends and issues, products/ services, key opinion leaders, customers, and competitors
