Job Responsibility

  • Shaping the policies and the guidelines that impact Vodafone's interest and strategic objectives via advocating the proper policy asks to policy makers
  • Analysing the main attributes of every policy ask and build the proper narrative related to the proper audience
  • Create the proper external coms integration for the policy asks
  • Interact with VF group to manage all public policy requests
  • Stakeholder engagement and lobbying, build connections with non-governmental institutes and key players to lobby for VF's policy asks
  • Research and report on new technologies, best practices and benchmark whenever possible
  • Support commercial expansion through finding and creating new revenue lines for commercial teams
  • Internal collaboration and Knowledge building through cross functional collaboration, training and knowledge sharing, group engagement and finally building a proper knowledge data base
  • Analyse and understand the whole external ecosystem to create a proper view for the management
  • Build the main policy asks and social contract for Vodafone Egypt
  • Create the proper narrative and audience selection for each policy ask
  • Communicate with VF group to manage all their relevant requests
  • Build new stakeholder ecosystem of key players (non gov)
  • Become the hub of knowledge and intelligence for VF

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in Public Policy, research function or related fields
  • Bachelor's in business administration or BSc in Economics, Political Science, law or related fields with an understanding of regulations and public policy
  • Excellent Relationship/ account management capabilities
  • Experience in dealing with Governmental entities
  • Excellent cross functional tasks and project management
  • Strong communication and negotiation vertically and horizontally with internal and external stakeholders
